If you’re anything like I was when I first began speaking...your list of questions were a LOT longer than this.  My list of questions were so long, that I almost never stepped into the destiny that had already been planned for me.


As a woman whose past included, Daddy Issues, Single Parenting, Depression, a Verbally Abusive Relationship, Low Self-Esteem, Induced Vomiting and Suicidal Thoughts on more than one occasion, I knew that I had a story (well...storIES) to tell.  I knew that there were women out there just like me who looked like they had it all together, yet were constantly “cutting” themselves and others with the brokenness that they shuffled around each day.




I was married...with children and “happy”... when I found myself standing in my bathroom mirror sobbing; unsure of who I was or what I had to offer my family, this world...or even myself!  I had unknowingly become so comfortable describing myself through all of the “titles” I had acquired (wife, mom, employee, friend, etc), that I had completely loss ME.




What I discovered in my time of metamorphosis is that I hadn’t really lost “me” at all.  I had simply forgotten how important it was to embrace my S.M.I.L.E.  In my book 70 Days of Happy: Life is BETTER When You Smile...I share some of life’s “simple” pleasures and how to maintain your Happy even when life’s circumstances tries to tear it away.
